Even today, it is still complicated for companies to map their supply chains to know where products come from and thus be truly sustainable. Not because the will is not there but because the data and tools are lacking. Leonardo Bonanni founded Sourcemap, a technology that can map supply chains based on social network logic. Connecting supply chains allows companies to know the entire production chain, prevent any disruptions, verify that standards are met in terms of environmental sustainability, and improve the working and living conditions of the people involved at all levels. We are not competing with each other for the resources of our planet, we have to build our future together, and the key is visibility, is traceability, is to include as many people as possible in innovating for an ethical and sustainable future.
